Charlie Brown's Steakhouse

I ate at the Charlie Brown's Steakhouse in Garden City, NY. I ordered a combo dinner that included shrimp and snapper, as well as a salad bar. The salad bar was good. Lots of good stuff was there for the taking, like several different types of olives. The feta stuffed olives were especially good for a salad bar...

I believe the fish I ordered was herb encrusted snapper. It was okay, but wasn't anything exceptional. The cilantro shrimp were much better than the fish. This was served with mashed potatoes as a side.

Key Biscayne Cuban Food...

Lighthouse Cafe...
I ate at the Lighthouse Cafe in the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park on Key Biscayne south of Miami. The restaurant specialized in Cuban food. I ordered a grilled snapper sandwich, served with fries. I traded half of my sandwich to try half of a Cuban sandwich since it was a Cuban restaurant. My snapper was very tasty. The Cuban sandwich tasted okay, but the pork was very fatty. So much that you had to spit parts out...

The restaurant looked like they specialized in the much more expensive seafood meals rather than sandwiches. They were serving things like entire fish that were cut into designs and fried. Take a look at the seafood case. Whole fish and Florida Lobsters...
